Described as a quietly inspirational man and phenomenal endurance rider, Mike Hall sadly passed away today doing what he loved most outside his family – riding his bike fast.
Fellow cyclist, Chris Shue was so inspired by Mike’s adventures, that he put it this way: “By all accounts, he (Mike) was just a ridiculously fast human who also happened to be an incredibly nice guy. He was doing what he loved and he was damn good at it. How many of us can honestly say that? I would be happy with just half of that equation.”
Mike Hall made such a positive impact to people that his crowdfunder page, which was originally targeting £10,000 to aid his partner and family, doubled it’s target in just 5 hours. The bar has now been raised to £100,000. If it were miles, Mike would hit that target.
Ride in peace, Mike Hall – founder of the Trans Continental and winner of so many mind-boggling endurance races.
