It takes two to make a thing go right
I first met Paffo and Fabio on a Sunday ride to Windsor and back. Then later on that week for laps in the local park. Not at all astonishing till you realise they’re both riding bare-knuckle-bikes – fixies without brakes!
Paffo and Fabio ride for the Back-To-Back and will be rocking this evening. Their achievements are even more extraordinary when you discover they have a smaller team than most of the other field.
Today sees the second series of the Red Hook Crit race enter London. From Brooklyn to London, then onto Barcelona and Milan, it promises to bring the spirit of track racing to the heart of the capital.
Popular teams such as Cinelli-Chrome, Oscar-Design, MASH, Leader, and my mates team – Back-To-Back will all be there. It all kicks off today with qualifiers, Women’s and Men’s racing, and all for free spectators.
So, if you’ve missed out on the London Nocturne, get ready for this high-octane two-wheel extravaganza!
