If the Dauphine heralds the arrival of the true contenders for the Tour de France throne, then surely the Tour de Suisse (TdS) is the calm before this storm. With the advancement of onboard-camera technology, coupled with alliances between teams and officials, our viewing pleasure is about to be notched up by a factor of 10.
We always knew there was a lot of action going on. Now we have the chance to be in the thick of it, whilst in the comfort of our very own armchair. Chapeau to the pros!
