Le Tour kicks off today and we always like to celebrate our favourite of all bicycle races. ‘Vive Le Tour’ is a short film that brilliantly captures the atmosphere for both the participant and the onlooker. Set in an era where hairnets (leather helmets) and leather gloves were all the rage; camera crews doubled up on mopeds and the use of colour film was only becoming popular, we can still marvel at the passion of the contestants and the enthusiasm of the fans. Vive Le Tour!
