Sparkler
The Roubaix Challenge is less than a month a way and a lone Baroudeur has been invited to give it a go. Surely the Captain will be packing the quintessential arm/knee warmers combo, a wooly hat and some beefy tyres for the cobbles, but what to ride? Answer: The Condor Bivio-X.
Get ‘ard as the Belgians
There’s a definite Spring feel tonight, but the Bivio-X doesn’t fail to sparkle. It’s a discreet little number that is tidily put together with a super-light Deda alu frame and a set of Columbus forks. The disc-brake mounts, internal cabling and sweeping top tube makes it ideal for flinging over ones shoulder, or flying up the steps of Waterloo Station. Functionality aside, the Bivio-X is not only handy for crossing the country, but is ready to burn rubber on the tarmac too. Captain and Alex were laying down some PB’s tonight.
I suspect this won’t be the only time we get to witness this cross bike in action. We’re looking forward to Captain’s reccie of the Arenberg forest and perhaps next year we should go as a team and get ‘ard as the Belgians.
In action – the Condor Bivio-X
